Freelance industrial designer, Turkish origin, with a studio in Milan, Defne Koz made projects for international companies like FontanaArte, Foscarini, Alessi, Pirelli, Replastic, Egizia, Mobileffe, Rapsel-Nito, Merati, Gabbianelli, Cappellini-P/O, Steel, RSVP, Liv’it in Italy; WMF and Authentics in Germany; Sharp, Nissan and Casio in Japan, Alparda, MPD, Vitra, Nurus, Derin and Gaia&Gino in Turkey. Working close to Italian design tradition, she provides consultancy in product design and product strategies with household appliances, consumer electronics, furniture, street furniture, home accessories and tableware, lighting, objects and architecture interiors for houses and shops. He has given lectures and seminars at Domus Academy, Milan; Fukui Prefecture, Japan; Architectural Association, London; Technical University, Istanbul; Bilgi University, Istanbul; Centro Borges, Buenos Aires.
