Ola is a directional desk, characterized by a strong and distinct personality.

Ola desks line boasts several prestigious honours: among them, the Good Design Award in Chicago, won in 2009 in the “furniture” category, “Ola” office collection, a magnificent example of made in Italy.
It also won the desired Red Dot Design Award in 2010, the greatest and most popular global competition in the design field, and the PRAGOINTERIER NEW DESIGN in Praga.
Ola desk has been awarded because it summarizes in a single product innovation, design quality, simplicity, functionality and precise contrasts in its form and materials. The design is by Mario Mazzer.

The shell generated from an elliptical base collects and stores the flow of energy radiated in the room with sleek, soft lines.

The wooden top is in MDF thickness mm. 30, multilaminar lime wood veneered, walnut finish on the upper side and counterplate on the lower side, with clear acrylic painting.
The outer edge is bevelled at 30°, the upper part is rounded with mm. 2 radius.
The top is fixed to the base with screws and threaded inserts.

The base is in Cristalplant®, a monobloc made of mineral charge and polyester resin based with variable thickness section for weight and structural resistance optimization.
The bottom of the base has adjustable feet screwed on threaded inserts.
Here, the base is proposed in two alternative variants:

  • mat lacquered base: Cristalplant® base lacquered with polyurethane “fondente” paint mat finish (many other colours available);
  • base covered with dark brown leather on the external side, with vertical stitchings to allow better aesthetic adaptability of the leather to the concave shape of the base and a better leather choice and to avoid natural defects. The internal side is always lacquered with polyurethane paint mat finish.

Desk size is cm. 220 x 120 x h. 75. It weighs 158,5 kg.

Several colours are available for both base leather and paint mat finish.
The top can be optionally equipped with wiring management (as shown in some pictures).
