Defne Koz

Freelance industrial designer, Turkish origin, with a studio in Milan, Defne Koz made projects for international companies like FontanaArte, Foscarini, Alessi, Pirelli, Replastic, Egizia, Mobileffe, Rapsel-Nito, Merati, Gabbianelli, Cappellini-P/O, Steel, RSVP, Liv’it in Italy; WMF and Authentics in Germany; Sharp, Nissan and Casio in Japan, Alparda, MPD, Vitra, Nurus, Derin and Gaia&Gino in Turkey. Working close to Italian design tradition, she provides consultancy in product design and product strategies with household appliances, consumer electronics, furniture, street furniture, home accessories and tableware, lighting, objects and architecture interiors for houses and shops. He has given lectures and seminars at Domus Academy, Milan; Fukui Prefecture, Japan; Architectural Association, London; Technical University, Istanbul; Bilgi University, Istanbul; Centro Borges, Buenos Aires. Some her projects have been exhibited at the Biennale del Vetro in Venice, IDYB in Cologne, Kunstmuseum in Dusseldorf, Übersee Museum in Bremen, Ozone Gallery in Tokyo, Triennale di Milano, Galleria Jannone, Galleria Posteria, Spazio Mudima, Ideabooks, Galleria Post Design, Spazio Vigentina in Milan, Abitare il Tempo in Verona, Pietrarsa Museum in Naples, Designers' Odyssey METU in Ankara.
