Bartoli Design, a team comprising Anna and Paolo Bartoli, continues the experience in design developed with Carlo Bartoli (1931-2020) through many partnerships with leading companies in the furniture sector.
The studio’s research explores elegance based on simplicity and balance.
Carlo Bartoli exhibited his work in Italy and abroad: at the Triennale Design Museum in Milano, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Stadt Museum in Cologne, as well as in New York, Prague, Hong Kong, Athens and Buenos Aires. The Gaia armchair is included in the design collection at the MOMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milano. The 4875 chair is on display in the design collection at the National Arts Museum of the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
Bartoli Design received the XXI Compasso d’Oro ADI award for the R606Uno chair in 2008 and, in 2016, Carlo Bartoli also received the XXIV Compasso d’Oro ADI Career Award. The studio was selected to appear on a set of Italian postage stamps entitled “Italian Design for a New Domestic Landscape”.
Several products by Bartoli Design have been awarded main design prizes as the I.D. Design Distinction Award, the Apex Product Design Award, the Red Dot and the IF Award for Good Industrial Design, the Golden Key Award, the BIG SEE Product design Award 2022.
