Arter and Citton

The Studio Arter&Citton, founded in 1990, operates through a wide range of projects within several areas including architecture, design, interior design, nautical projects, communication and visual selling. A variety of experiences, intentionally conceived like a “homogenous mixture”, and not intended to target a specialised sector, yielded advantages and remarkable synergies. During time new areas of exploration became available, leading in turn to greater freedom in project development. In 1997 a new laboratory was established within existing facilities, named D.MOD, its function being to explore new opportunities within the disciplines of both Urban and Alternative design, which are now enriched by other figurative expressions, namely photography, painting and sculpture. The objective of the lab is experimentation with innovative shapes and contents, applicable to the various intended areas. The main target is represented by project elaboration and learning from new experiences and derived knowledge. In this content of research, the projects acquire new validity as alternatives to the common forms of interpretation.
